With new android versions there is no option to change the settings of your live wallpaper ☹.
You can either install the Google Wallpapers app (from Play store) or a third-party launcher (also from Play store - I recommend Nova or ADW Launcher).
Just install the chosen app and any installedd live wallpaper will show up in there. You can customize it from there.
TO SWIPE: Only vertical swipes are registered. Swiping up or down will change the rotation direction. Slow swipe will result in slower rotation speed. Double tap will stop the rotation.
TO SHAKE: Only vertical shaking is registered. Each shake will reverse the rotation direction. Gentle shake will result in slower rotation speed.
